Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) has arrested three individuals, Meka Nethaji, Meka Sriharash, and Nimmagadda Vanibala, for defrauding investors and siphoning off around Rs. 200 crores. The trio, linked to Sri Priyanka Enterprises Graphics Systems and Sri Priyanka Graphtec Private Limited, lured investors with promises of high returns. Following a complaint from a victim, the police conducted an investigation and registered a case. The arrests were made under Section 406, 420 read with 120B of the IPC and Section 5 of the Telangana Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishment Act, according to DCP CCS Detective Department, N Swetha.
Earlier,
Nearly 517 investors were defrauded when the company abruptly ceased operations. Seeking justice, the defrauded investors staged a protest at the Central Crime Station (CCS) in Basheer Bagh on Monday.
