CBSE 12th Result Evaluation Criteria Out: Students Confused

New Delhi: CBSE Boar represented by Attorney General KK Venugopal told today that, The bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari in Supreme Court of India, that Class 12 result will be announced by July 31, based on the following criteria.

  • Class 12 students will be marked based on Class 11 and Class 10 results.
  • 40% of the marks will be based on the 12th pre-board, and
  • 60% weightage will be given to the performance of the students in Class 11 and Class 10 final exams. (30% marks will be based on Class 11 final exam, and 30% marks based on best-of-three Class 10 marks)
  • Practicals will be for a total of 100 marks and the students will be evaluated based on the marks submitted by the schools.
  • If a student is unable to meet the qualifying criteria, they will be placed in the “essential repeat” or “compartment” category.
  • The students who are not satisfied can appear again when the CBSE conducted the Class 12 board exams,”
