Hyderabad: Five students all between the ages of 18 to 21, were injured after their car overturned on the PVNR expressway on Sunday morning. Students sitting on front seat sustained the more critical injuries, but out of danger.
During the early morning hour, an Innova carrying five passengers’ overturns after the driver lost control of the vehicle due to rain and slippery roads. The vehicle went and hit the median of the flyover and toppled over an electric pole. Rajendra Nagar Traffic police said.
The incident occurred at Pillar No 156 when car was proceeding from Mehdipatnam towards Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).

On being alerted by another commuter, the Rajendranagar police team arrived at the spot and pulled the vehicle away to the police station. The incident led to a traffic jam on the expressway for an hour before the traffic police managed to clear it.
A case was booked and further investigation in process.
