Canada’s FTG Corporation Announces a New Aerospace Facility in Hyderabad

TORONTO, ONTARIO Firan Technology Group Corporation (FTG), a Canadian aerospace and defense electronics company, has announced the establishment of a new aerospace manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, India. The facility is expected to begin production by the end of 2025 and will focus on cockpit products, including backlit panels and higher-level assemblies.

Strategic Expansion and Market Presence

FTG has been expanding globally through strategic initiatives, and the Hyderabad facility is part of this growth strategy. India was chosen as the location due to its rising prominence in the global aerospace and defense industry, along with government policies such as “Make in India”, which encourage foreign investment and manufacturing.

The new facility will be located at Hyderabad Airport in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), which will allow tariff-free trade between India and other global markets. FTG has also secured an option to expand the facility by over 200% in the future.

Leadership Statement

Brad Bourne, President and CEO of FTG, emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating:

“This new manufacturing facility is a significant milestone for FTG, reinforcing our commitment to India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. India is a growth market for FTG, and this expansion will enhance our ability to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to the aviation and defense sectors.”

The Hyderabad plant will mark FTG’s fourth aerospace manufacturing location, following Canada, the United States, and China. The company will continue its focus on commercial aerospace, defense avionics, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) devices.

Aero India 2025 Participation

FTG has invited attendees to Aero India 2025, where they will showcase details about the new facility at their booth in Hall J.
