Hyderabad: Abhay Kumar Jain, 44-year-old, chartered accountant reportedly jumps into Hussain Sagar lake and commit suicide due to financial issues.
Abhay, a resident of DD colony in Bagh Amberpet left his home on Friday morning for some work, and by the end of day when he did not return home, his family members called him on over his mobile which was not answered, later the phone was switched off. The distress family reached Nallakunta police station and lodge complaint.
On Saturday, Abhay Kumar was fished out from the Hussain Sagar Lake by the Ramgopalpet police, the body was handed over to the family on Sunday after the postmortem examination in Osmania General Hospital mortuary.
According to Ch Nagaraju, SI, Ramgopalpet police station, “The family members told us that Abhay Kumar had entered into an agreement with an acquaintance and purchased a land parcel. However, the partner demanded him to give back the money as he was not interested in the land. Due to the harassment, he might have ended his life,”
A case was registered by the police and further investigation in process.
