Hyderabad: An FIR was lodged against Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on August 24, 2024, by the Pocharam IT Corridor police. The case stems from allegations of illegal construction of college buildings within the buffer zone of Nadam Cheruvu in Ghatkesar Mandal. The complaint was filed by A Paramesh, an assistant executive engineer from the irrigation department. After inspecting the site, it was found that the Anurag Group of Institutions and Gayatri Educational Trust, both chaired by Reddy, were involved in these illegal constructions at Venkatapur Village, Ghatkesar.
Yesterday… HYDRA Demolish Actor Nagarjuna’s ‘N Convention’ in Madhapur
Hyderabad: HYDRA (Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection) officials began demolishing the ‘N Convention’ center in Madhapur, Hyderabad, on Saturday. The demolition was initiated due to the alleged illegal construction of the facility within the Full Tank Level (FTL) area of a nearby lake. The property is reportedly owned by Tollywood actor Nagarjuna. The authorities, accompanied by a police force, arrived early in the morning to commence the demolition.
