Hyderabad: In a tragic incident an elderly, visually impaired couple unknowingly lived with their deceased 30-year-old son’s body for four days. The couple, who live in Hyderabad’s Blinds Colony, repeatedly called out to their son for food and water, not realizing he had passed away in his sleep. Due to their feeble voices, neighbors were unaware of the situation until they noticed a foul smell coming from the house. Concerned, they called the police on Monday.

Upon arrival, Nagole police found the couple in a semi-conscious state and immediately provided them with food and water. The son’s body was taken for a post-mortem, while the couple was placed under the care of their elder son, who lives elsewhere in the city.
