Hyderabad, 04 MArch: Shamshabad Police on Thursday arrested a black magician along with three others. Police also seized eleven kilos of fake gold biscuits weighing around 5.85kg, Rs 8 lakh from them.
According to Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, Dasthagiri Ahmed indulged in black magic and assured people, who visits his clinic, that he can discover gold treasure hidden in their house or other places.
According to police Sajjad, a realtor, had approached him saying his mother was having dreams about a hidden treasure. In their house, consequently “Ahmed visited Sajjad’s house and convinced him that his mother would die if the hidden gold in the house was not found. He agreed to perform a ritual costing Rs 5 lakh, for which Sajjad agreed to pay in installments and paid Rs 3 lakh as advance.
Ahmed then collected brass pieces and got them coated in gold through his aid Faheem. Ahmed during the rituals dug pits at different spots and by diverting them hid the fake gold pieces in those pits, he again dug up the pits and took out the fake gold.
He did not allow them to touch them saying they had spiritual powers which could kill those who touch them., and he wrapped the ‘gold’ in a cloth and gave it for safe custody,”
Sajjad could not hold back his anxiety and curiosity and opened the cloth and to discover the brass pieces instead of gold. When questioned, Ahmed told them gold converted into brass because the cover was opened before time.
To recover the loss, Sajjad with his friend Tayyabi decided to sell the fake gold biscuits in Rs 50,000 to Mubeen. Mubeen, realizing he was fooled, approached the police.
Based on a complaint, the Special Operation Team traced and arrested them, they were produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
