BJP Govt In Nepal, Sri Lanka? Tripura CM Quotes Amit Shah’s ‘Overseas’ Expansion Plan

Biplab Deb said Amit Shah in 2018, who was then BJP chief, during a meeting spoke about “overseas” expansion after winning in all the states in India.

Tripura: Biplab Kumar Deb, Tripura CM has now run into one more and this time an international controversy over his remarks on politics and policy.

Biplab Deb in an event in capital Agartala said the BJP and Amit Shah has not only planned to expand across the country but also has plans to expand the government in neighboring countries Nepal and Sir Lanka.

Biplab Deb said Amit Shah in 2018, who was then BJP chief, during a meeting spoke about “overseas” expansion after winning in all the states in India.

Biplab Deb also said West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress will be defeated in the coming state election in West Bengal.

Earlier in 2018, Deb had kicked up a controversy by his ‘Internet in the Mahabharata era’ remark. He had said, “India has been using the internet for ages. In Mahabharata, Sanjay was blind, but he narrated what was happening on the battlefield to Dhritarashtra anyway. This was due to the internet and technology. The satellite also existed during that period.”
