Telangana War on Covid-19, Using Army Aircrafts to Airlift Oxygen

Hyderabad: Telangana has using army cargo aircrafts to guarantee there is sufficient oxygen available in the Telangana state for critical Covid-19 patients in the next 24-hours.

As per the central government Telangana is supposed to arrange Oxygen form Odisha state.

Eatala Rajender, Health Minister, along with Somesh Kumar, Chief Secretary supervised the loading of empty oxygen trucks into an army cargo aircraft at old Begumpet airport.

According to health officials, this is for the first time in the country that Army Aircrafts are being used for Oxygen, the Army cargo aircraft will fly to Odisha with empty trucks, tankers will be filled at Tata Steel Plant in Kalinganagar and brought back to Hyderabad by the same aircraft.
