Arrah, Bihar: A daring daylight robbery took place at a Tanishq showroom in Arrah, Bihar, on Monday, shortly after it opened at 10:30 AM. A group of 5-6 armed and masked men stormed the store, overpowering security personnel and taking customers and staff hostage. The robbers looted jewellery worth approximately ₹25 crore, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Execution of the Robbery

• The robbers arrived in a car, parking it across the street.
• Due to the store’s policy of limiting group entries, they entered in pairs.
• As the sixth person entered, he held a gun to security guard Manoj Kumar’s head, snatched his weapon, and assaulted him.
• The criminals forced customers and employees to comply at gunpoint and methodically packed stolen items into bags.
• The loot included gold chains, necklaces, bangles, and diamond jewellery.

• The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bhojpur ordered increased security measures, including strict vehicle checks across the district.
• CCTV footage and images of the suspects were shared across police networks.
• During an operation at the Babura Choti bridge, officers spotted six men on three motorcycles speeding towards Doriganj, raising suspicions.

The police are actively investigating the case, using CCTV footage and other leads to track down the perpetrators.
