AP Allocates Rs 290 Crore for Pothole Repairs and Rs 186 Crore for 4,565 KM of Rain-Damaged Roads

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has released Rs 186 crore to repair 4,565 km of roads damaged by recent floods, along with an additional Rs 290 crore for pothole repairs in various districts. He urged officials to begin work once the rains subside, recommending the use of advanced technologies like drones and LiDAR for efficient road repairs. Naidu also approved Rs 42 crore for land acquisition to complete road over bridges and called for fast-tracking Rs 65,000 crore national highway projects in coordination with central authorities.
