Productive discussions with Amazon’s senior leadership, led by Kerry Person, VP of AWS Data Centre Planning & Delivery, have secured a stronger commitment to enhance their operations in Telangana.
Amazon’s presence in Telangana is already extensive, featuring their largest corporate building in Hyderabad and the launch of Amazon Air in 2023. AWS has designated Hyderabad as a strategic region with three operational data centers, and further expansion is planned, including AI/ML-enabled services.
Minister DSB led the talks, assuring Amazon of full support and incentives. These developments will further solidify Telangana’s position as a leading hub for cloud and data infrastructure in India, marking exciting times ahead for our digital economy.

California: Chief Minister Sri Revanth Anumula met with Monarch Tractor, a U.S.-based leader in driver-optional electric tractors, during his visit to the U.S. Monarch, which has operated an R&D center in Hyderabad since 2023, announced plans to expand its operations by setting up an autonomous tractor testing facility in Telangana.
The Telangana delegation pitched for Monarch to establish a manufacturing facility in the state, and the Monarch team handed over a letter of intent to explore this possibility.
Monarch CEO Mr. Praveen Penmetsa stated, “We see great potential in expanding our presence here.” Monarch’s AI-driven electric tractors align with Telangana’s vision of becoming a leader in autonomous and EV technology.
