Bangalore: All Four candidates from Karnataka were elected unanimously to the Rajya Sabha yesterday. The newly elected MPs include former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) Chief H. D. Deve Gowda, veteran Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Bharatiya Janata Party nominees Ashok Gasti and Iranna Kadadi.
The elections were announced to find replacements for Rajeev Gowda and B K Hariprasad from Congress, Prabhakar Kore from BJP, and D. Kupendra Reddy from JD(S) whose term is scheduled to end on 25th of June.
