Sri. Anjani Kumar IPS Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad explained Crime Review for the last three months (January, February and March) under the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate.

• A total of 49 offenders have been booked under the PD Act.

These include Dacoity, Robbers, bootleggers, white collars, property offenders, Rowdy sheeters.

• For the first-time white-collar criminals went to jail.

• Corona cases have been on the rise for the past 10 days. Cases are on the rise in the major cities of the country as well as in our Hyderabad city. People should be alert because of the corona.

• No one should come out without wearing a mask. People should not go to a mass gathering. Everyone should be careful to adhere to social distance. On this occasion, all indications and assistance are being received from the government.

• The Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate is also sanitizing every police station and giving masks.

• 800 police personnel have been deployed on behalf of the Hyderabad City Police to provide security for the Tamil Nadu elections. They were given counseling about corona and explained precautionary measures etc.

• When they return to Hyderabad from election duty, they will be provided with Covid-Test.

• In Hyderabad City, 12 major cases have been jailed for 5 years and above in the last three months. In two of these cases (Nallakuntu, OU-PS) was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment. Despite all the obstacles posed by Corona. We have also expedited the investigation of some cases pending due to Corona.
