Hyderabad: A special aircraft carrying the Colonel’s body from New Delhi landed at Hyderabad airport, at around 9.30am.

Col. Sanotsh Babu’s wife Santoshi, along with their two children daughter Abhigna (9) and son Anirudh (4) accompanied the body.

Cyberabad CP, V C Sajjanar, along with Shamshabad DCP, N Prakash Reddy, and other police officers received the mortal remains.

Santosh’s father B Upender, a retired manager of State Bank of India (SBI), could not come to the airport to receive the body, as doctors have advised him to take rest because he is suffering from low blood pressure, the commissioner said.

Later, the coffin, was carried to his hometown Suryapet by a special vehicle. Colonel Santhosh Babu will be laid to rest in Suryapet.
