Central Vista Project A “A Colossal Waste of Public Money” and “Case of Misplaced Priorities” Congress

The Congress party said Central Vista Project is a “Case of Misplaced Priorities” also described the project as “a colossal waste of public money” in times of the coronavirus pandemic and an economic recession in the country.

The Central Vista project of 13,450 CR is not a legal issue at all. This is a burning case of ‘wrong priorities’ in the whims of an arbitrary autocratic ruler arbitrarily registering his name in history.

Ironically, for the Central Vista in times of Corona epidemic and economic recession ₹ 14,000 CR and to purchase aircraft for P.M.₹ 8,000 is CR. But the same BJP government has reduced the allowance of 113 lakh soldiers and central government employees and pensioners to 37,530 CR.

PM should not forget that he has reduced the benefits earned by 15 lakh soldiers and 26 lakh military pensioners by 11,000 crores. And why does the BJP government not have the time and money to provide ‘hot tents and equipment’ to our soldiers fighting the Chinese incursion into Ladakh?

Earlier today, The Supreme Court said today, the construction of the Central Vista project (new parliament complex) near Delhi’s India Gate can go ahead. Supreme court in judgement in response to various petitions that challenged the project in terms of permissions and clearances.
