Quli Qutub Shah Heritage Park Restoration Completed, Revanth Reddy, Asaduddin Owaisi Attended

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Chief Minister, Mr. A. Revanth Reddy, emphasized that the preservation of Telangana’s cultural and heritage wealth is a responsibility of the government, and assured that all necessary measures would be taken for this purpose. He participated in an event held on the occasion of the successful completion of the restoration of the famous Qutb Shahi Heritage Park in Hyderabad.

Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi attended the completion ceremony of the restoration work at Quli Qutub Shah Heritage Park with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. Owaisi expressed gratitude to the state government, AKF Global, and the US Consulate.

  • This restoration project was undertaken by the state’s cultural department with the cooperation of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. The Chief Minister mentioned that the Satavahanas, Kakatiyas, Qutb Shahis, and other dynasties have left their distinct cultural imprint on Telangana over thousands of years.
  • He also highlighted that Telangana is home to architectural marvels such as the Thousand Pillar Temple, Ramappa Temple, and Alampur Temples.
  • The Chief Minister expressed that for centuries, Hyderabad has experienced harmony and coexistence as a blend of multiple races and cultures under the ‘Ganga-Jamuna Tehzeeb’, and this cultural heritage fills us with pride.
  • On behalf of the Telangana government and the people of Hyderabad, the Chief Minister extended gratitude and appreciation to the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) for their cooperation and generosity in preserving the Qutb Shahi Heritage Park.
  • The event was attended by Minister Mr. Jupally Krishna Rao, MP Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, Mr. Prince Rahim Aga Khan, representatives from the foundation, and other dignitaries.
