Hyderabad: On credible information Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team laid a trap near Maithri Hospital, Pillar no.84, Langer house PS, Hyderabad and apprehended 5 persons who are illegally procuring and selling of Amphotericin B injections each 50 MG of Bharat Serums & Vaccines Limited & United Biotech (P) Ltd in black market to needy customers for Rs. 50,000/- each vial (Original price Rs. 315/-, depending on manufacture company) without any valid documents to make quick money,
Amphotericin B are being used for Antiviral medicine for Black fungal infection to Covid-19 patients. The antiviral drug is currently in high demand for the treatment of Black fungal infection patients.
The arrested persons are identified as…
- Dr. Bachhu Ramacharan, 25, Doctor practitioner in Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet.
- Dr. Ghali Sainath, 24, Doctor practitioner in Reddy Labs, Bachupalli.
- Bhonsle Suresh, 26, X-ray machine operator in Malla Reddy Hospital.
- Gannapuram Saivardhan Goud, 22, Interior Marketing.
- Kai Srikanth, 33, Lab technician, Balaji Diagnostic.
- Dr. Chellagolla Raviteja Chowdary , Doctor practitioner, neo care hospital ( Main drug supplier) (Absconding accused)
Police also seized 5 Amphotericin B injections & 04 cell phones.
