500 Drunk Drivers Booked in Hyderabad on New Year Eve
Hyderabad, 1st January 2021: Traffic Police in Hyderabad booked around 500 traffic violation against drunk drivers during a special drive on New Year’s Eve.
The special checking was carried out by 100 special teams from Thursday night to Friday morning at 25 various traffic divisions under the Hyderabad Police limits.
According to Hyderabad Traffic Police officials, many vehicles were seized including bikes and cars. The drivers booked during the special drive will be required to undergo counselling at Traffic Training Institutes. They will also be produced before court for jail and/por fines.
More than 20,000 vehicles were checked under Hyderabad Police limits alone during special check during new year eve.
