5 Staff of Pragathi Bhavan Tests Positive, KCR Moves to Farmhouse

Hyderabad: Coronavirus has now entered the official residence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Pragathi Bhavan.

The five staff working in Pragathi Bhavan have tested positive for CoronaVirus on Thursday, July 2. 

The employees reportedly developed symptoms of CoronaVirus following which they underwent coronavirus tests and were found positive for the virus. Pragathi Bhavan was immediately sanitized after the matter came to light.

CM KCR is currently staying at his Gajwel house along with his family members for the past four days. However, the state government has not made any official statement over this yet.

Friday, Telangana Home Minister Mahmood Ali discharge from the hospital after getting treated for CoronaVirus.

Earlier, Telangana Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud also tested positive for CoronaVirus.

Besides three Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs also contracted coronavirus.

According to another source, at least 20 employees working in Pragathi Bhavan, including security personnel and outsourcing staff contracted the virus in the last week.
