436 KM of Roads to be Repaired Soon in Telangana – Delayed for Model Code of Conduct (MCC)

Hyderabad: The State government has decided to initiate repair works on 436 kilometers of state roads. Roads and Buildings officials are working on completing the tender process for these repairs.

Typically, road repairs are undertaken before the monsoon season. However, due to the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the Lok Sabha elections, the State government was unable to finalize tenders in time.

Under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), the Central government allocated Rs. 850 crore to the State in the last financial year. Despite receiving these funds, the assembly elections prevented the State government from finalizing the repair works.
