3 Y Kidnapped Child from Nampally, Hyderabad, Rescued in Maharashtra

Hyderabad, 19 FEB: The Hyderabad police in coordination with the Maharashtra police rescued a 3-year child Rudramani, wo was kidnapped while playing near Gandhi Bhavan last week, and arrest 22-year-old Shyam Bheem Rao Solanki, a stone cutter from Malegaon district, Maharashtra who plans to sell the child.

According to the police, kidnaped child’s parents Shiva Kumar and Ambika, both laborers from Bidar of Karnataka were living on the pavement near Public Gardens in Nampally. Shiva Kumar started working at a hotel. Couple have 3 Childs Rudramani and two daughters, aged 12 and 9 years.

According to police, On February 7, Solanki with his friend approached the couple and assured them work in Mumbai. Two days later, when both couples were not with children Solanki kidnapped the child and walked to Afzalgunj and took shelter at Musi huts near Falguni till next morning.

The Abid Road police booked a kidnap case and deployed special teams, by which time Solanki had boarded a train from Secunderabad Railway Station along with Rudramani and went to Sevagram Railway Station in Maharashtra. “From there, he went to Wardha railway station by auto and boarded Vidharbha Express and alighted at Akola Railway Station. He took a bus and then auto to his native village Amanwadi,” police said.

The police, who had identified him through CCTV footage, contacted police in Maharashtra and in coordination with them and with inputs from local people traced the Solanki.

Hyderabad police team in coordination of Maharashtra police reached the kidnapper location and rescued Rudramani apart from arresting Shyam Bheem Rao Solanki.
