Hyderabad: Further to earlier Free water for Hyderabad city, KCR today clarified that apartment dwellers will also get the same in Hyderabad,
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Saturday announced that drinking water charges for consumption up to 20,000 litres would be waived off for them as well.
CM KCR while addressing the Election campaign meeting at LB Stadium said, that the required procedures to be completed in a couple of months, and all attempts were also being made to fulfill nonstop drinking water supply in Hyderabad.
CM KCR said, “Hyderabad will be the second city to implement such a scheme after New Delhi. This is not a mere electoral promise but aimed at benefitting the poor. About 97 per cent of the population will benefit from the scheme. I received several queries from apartment residents and hence, want to clarify that the scheme will be made applicable to flat owners as well,” KCR clarified.
