Hyderabad: The Hyderabad customs officials on Thursday booked a case for smuggling 2.7 Kg of 24 carat gold from a passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad.
The passenger who arrived from Dubai by flight Ek-526, concealed the gold in a pasta making machine.
The Customs official officials at Hyderabad Airport recovered and seized 2.7 Kg of 24 carat gold of estimated value of Rs 1.3 crore.
The airport officials booked a case against the passenger and are investigating.
