Telangana Cancels SSC Exams Format, Changed to Objective Type, to be Held Later

The results of 10th class students to be prepared on the basis of Objective Criteria to be develop by the SSC Board

Hyderabad, 15 April: Telangana government on Thursday cancelled the SSC board exams to be held from May 17, and decided the results will be prepared on the basis of Objective Criteria to be develop by the SSC Board, Telangana at later date.

Telangana government also cancelled the intermediate first year under the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) in view of the rising COVID-19 cases.

A decision was taken following a high-level review meeting by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with the education ministry officials.

A formal memo in this regard issued by Chitra Ramchamdran, the Special Chief Secretary as follows…

“Considering the present pandemic situation prevailing in the state and also keeping in view of CBSE notifications dated 14-04-2021, Government hereby cancels all 10th class exams to be held from 17th May 2021. The results of 10th class students to be prepared on the basis of Objective Criteria to be develop by the SSC Board, Telangana at later dat. Any candidate not satisfied with marks allotted will be given an opportunity to sit in exams as and when conditions conducive.”
