Hyderabad: Three people lost their lives and two others were injured when their car overturned at Turkapally in Shamirpet on the outskirts of the city on Friday. Police suspect that rash and negligent driving led to the accident.
According to the police, the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to avoid a collision with a heavy vehicle ahead. Three passengers in the car sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. The other two passengers suffered serious injuries and were taken to a private hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Shamirpet police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. A case of negligence causing death and injuries has been registered.
